Starter Kit Nonwoven Aligned

Equipment suitable for first time users of electrospinning techniques or expert users who need a dedicated station to develop new materials. It is for research centers, universities, technological companies.

The user can create deposits of micro/nanofibers with aligned structure (Nonwoven fabric). This Kit allows to manage the deposition of the fibers during the spinning process.

High Voltage Generator solutions: Standard: 40 kV It is possible to electrospin any type of organic polymer. The Generator should be installed directly in the hood.

Optional: 60 kV It is possible to electrospin any type of organic or synthetic or ceramic material polymer. This Generator should not be installed in the hood because is inside the Control Unit and there are 3.3m long shielded cable for high voltage.

Production capability

  • Up to 200 ml/day with a Single needle (1 tip).
  • Starting from solutions at room temperature.

Reduction of production time

  • Up to 4X with Multiple needles (4 tips) – included in the Kit.
  • Up to 6X with Multiple needles (6 tips) – Optional.
  • Up to 14X with Multiple needles (14 tips) - Optional.

Technical features of the device

  • Compact, easy to install, ready-to-use.
  • Drum collector, easy to replace with 1 to 100 mm diameter, maximum length 120 mm
  • Stand-alone solution.
  • Safety interlock system.

Technical advantages of the device

  • Flexibility: the user can, each time, create the best needle-collector configuration thanks to the absence of geometric restrictions of the device.
  • No waste: the loading of the syringes is done without wasting solution due to the absence of flexible tubes that connect them to the needles.
  • Reliability: the use of Omron Electronics industrial components for the control electronics guarantees the maximum reliability of the system also under heavy use conditions.
  • Safety: automatic interruption of production in case of blackout or malfunction; safety limit switch to stop the high voltage in case the hood is opened.

  • 15 W high voltage generator adjustable between 0 and 40 kV 16(L)x26(W)x9(H) cm.
  • Very short high voltage cable (50 cm).
  • NO installation and wiring, plug and play.
  • Low EMI interface with lab apparatus; all power section inside hood.
  • Control Unit 500(L)x250(W)x500(H).
  • The Generator is outside the Control Unit and should be installed directly in the hood.

Info about Generator 60 kV

  • 60 W high voltage generator adjustable between 0 and 60 kV.
  • 3.3m long shielded cable for high voltage.
  • NO installation and wiring, plug and play.
  • NO installation and wiring, ready to use.
  • Low EMI interface with lab apparatus.
  • Control Unit 500(L)x250(W)x500(H).
  • The Generator is inside the Control Unit.
